Google added Invisible mode to Gmail Chat [Google Talk]
ADVERTISEMENTS
One of the most awaited feature Google Talk lovers has been waiting for is out. Just read on Google’s official Gmail blog that Gmail Chat version of Google Talk will now have option to go invisible!
Jonas Lindberg quoted,
With this feature, you can appear offline, and still send and receive messages. If you’re using AIM in Gmail, invisible mode also makes you appear signed out on the AIM network.
Many developers will find this interesting as they can chat with other fellow developers without any interruption now. One bad new for boys is that all gals can go invisible now to avoid them!
Personally this is the feature I was waiting for. Hope to see it in Google Talk application soon!

Pls help me////////cant shot out/////// invisible mode………
hiii …there is a trick in finding user whether he/she is invisible or not ….
Set the chat as off the record with target user . This can be done only when the other user is online.
Now try sending chat to that user when he is invisible or offline.
If he is invisible, then he will receive chat.
But if he Is offline, then you will receive error “ did not receive your chat”.
ps: u can set chat off the record option even if the user is offline in google talk but it is not possible in gmail…
@Kapil
Its old trick and I posted it here in detail few days back.
