Devil is Back Forever!
More than a week ago, I was on leave from devils workshop to complete my academic formalities. Now as I am done with all the official stuff, I am back as a full-time blogger.
Yes, now this workshop (and so blogging) is not just my hobby but source of livelihood. This is very crucial time in my life. I chose blogging over many six-figure job offers that I received. My blogging income is still in a four-figure but thankfully (only) my dad is supporting my decision.
I thank you all for being with me for around two years. I specially like to thank Darnell Clayton whose comment for the first time made me think that I can try blogging as a full-time profession. I learned a lot from him. I am also grateful to my blogger friend Gaurav Dua who always made me run for orkut posts which makes 40% of this blog!
Three bloggers I like to remember at this point are Thilak, Amit Agarwal & Darren Rowse.
Now as I have all the time of my life, I like to complete many pending tasks. First, will be a new theme for this blog and next will be major changes to our free service orkutfeeds. Being a coder, its hard for me to keep my hands off codes, specially PHP codes! So along with blogging, I will be coding few more small services in open-source as well as commercially.
Thank you all once again…

I can say what Darnell made u feel. Ur blog made me feel so. The first Time I came to know about your blog when I First googled devils workshop, because this is what I keep the name of my windows use account. Actually they are - Devils workshop and Devils Playground( another account I use just for Gaming ) So actully your blog shares more than just Blog technicalities. Although I won’t be taking blogging as a full time profession as of now but surely DevilsWorkshop would always be an inspiration.

yea the theme looks simple and elegant. With a lot of openness in the theme. But its a 2 column template and What I feel Tech Blogs look better in three column templates.
Rahul Bansal said, on June 17, 2008 @5:39 pm
@Gaurav
Well 3 column is nice but I like to keep things simple so that not-so-geek first time visitor won’t feel sites are cluttered.
By the way I will put BOTTOM-BAR in addition to 2-columns. Like this blog have at bottom…
Gaurav said, on June 18, 2008 @1:01 am
Thats a good idea, but this would make pages longer in length which I don’t think is a good thing. Anyways it would always be better to wait and watch the final theme to be out and then tweaking it would be a better option.

@Gaurav
I want this workshop to have unique look…
Ya… Still I guess it will take 2 more week for first demo…
And I will not make final theme fully public… of course i will release its variants…
Gaurav said, on June 21, 2008 @8:14 pm
yea it should have, Every blog must have a unique theme, even I changed my blog theme differently from what I had downloaded
Rahul Bansal said, on June 24, 2008 @10:44 pm
@Gaurav
Yeah… Thats why taking so long for new theme… want to invest once for lifetime…
