Check Indian Version of Orkut…

Just checked Indian version of Orkut. Its URL is http://www.orkut.co.in/ as expected.
At first look I didn’t notice anything special. Maybe some features have been added internally.
Few things one can expect are…
- Searches from http://www.orkut.co.in/ will give priority to Indian users/communities.
- Geotargeting of Orkut Apps. Orkut Apps are officially available for India & Estonia but can be used any orkut user by changing their country to India or Estonia. (More details…)
There may be more to this but as I am away for a week can’t explore much. If you find anything great in Indian version, feel free to comment.

i think as of now, there has been no major change in orkut
i think orkut is experimenting with some features..
much is in store ahead
That is cool to see! I wonder if they are going to do something similar for Brazilian users?

Yep… They must be having more in mind as they have launched similar country-specific versions for many sites…
