Chatting from multiple Google Talk accounts at once!
If u r using GoogleTalk and want to use it more…. here is a simple tutorial to demonstrate how to run multiple GoogleTalk on your pc…
A Shortcut to google talk on your desktop / start menu / quick launch bar will have a target address like this….
C:\Program Files\Google\Google Talk\googletalk.exe
All you got to do is to change target to….
C:\Program Files\Google\Google Talk\googletalk.exe /nomutex
The /nomutex is the key here and now run multiple googletalk.
Step-by-Step Procedure:
- Right-Click on any shortcut (preferably on desktops shortcut).
- Select properties from context-menu!
- U will get a window like below!
- Go to shortcut tab!
- Edit target as mentioned above!
- After editing it should look like below!
- Thats it save n just click on that shortcut everytime u want to run a new instant of GoogleTalk.

Yes. Chat history from individual account will get saved automatically!
Imagine as you are running multiple Google Talk on multiple PC!

Hi rahul….i have 2 accounts on google talk……when i tried to so this trick it says that the target thing i put is wrong……and it dont let me do it….would you please tell me what to do?

It happens! Don’t worry!
Someone said it sarcastically that 90% of windows problem get solved after restarting and rest needs reinstallation!
