Orkut: HiNew Scrap 1.0 - Know who is online & scrapping u!
This is latest GreaseMonkey Script for Orkut users n biggest also!
When u install this u will receive notification
- when someone scraps u!
- when any of your friend comes online!
Also u can choose to be notified in three way-
- small pop-up balloon in right-bottom corner as shown in above screen-shot. (this can not be turned off)
- a sound alert!
- a funny alert will Shake ur screen!
Wats good about balloon notification is that it shows scraps content when somebody scraps u! It also shows name n pic of friend who is coming online!
Another Layout option is there for changing color of balloon notification n configuration panel!
All this can be configurable, which is really rare in GreaseMonkey Scripts! It adds three more links besides “Home | Friends | Message | …. ” links on top of every orkut page! One is for opening ur scrapbook and another is for configuration wizard to change the behavior of this script!
Installation Procedure:
Again this is for firefox & GreaseMonkey Only! So…
- Download firefox if u don’t have it!
- Install greasemonkey extension for firefox.
- Close all firefox windows and restart firefox.
- Click here and select “Install” option on next screen!

If u r using Firfox 2.0+ then u will get “View User Script Source” option.
Anyway go ahead with that option and u’ll get “Install” option in top-right corner on next screen!

Guys due to lack of time I could not cross check with scripts! Its even obsolote with googleTalk and orkut integration.
As the script isn’t made by me it will take time to check it for errors! Anyway lemme know it its workin fine!

Due to some technical problem I am not able to give enough time to look into this matter! Actually this script become really obsolete as explained in above comments!

In orkut account we can see maximum 10 online friends in homepage.
what if more then 10 friends are online? is there any script available to see all online friends?

There is no script for that, but generally if you click view all friends link, the order of display is “most recently logged friend first…” [:)]

There is no exact way.
But friends you see in sidebar on your homepage are normally most recent online people.
